How to Care for Astrantia

Cut Astrantia flowers need to be handled in the same way as other flowers. They will last longer and look better if you follow these simple guidelines. - Fill a vase two-thirds full of room temperature water after cleaning it. To keep your astrantia cut flowers at their best, you will have a packet of flower food with your order. -Trim the leaves below the waterline before putting the flowers in the vase to avoid bacterial development. - Remove approximately an inch of the stems' bottoms by slicing them at an angle of 45 degrees. If you do this every two to three days, your water consumption will improve. - Every two to three days, swap out the water and flower food. - Temperatures in chilly environments can keep cut Astrantia flowers fresher longer. It's best to keep your cut flowers out of direct sunlight and away from air conditioning or heating vents. - Ethylene gas, which is released by ripening fruits, reduces the vase life of cut flowers.
