Facts About Bouvardia

The Bouvardia Flowers are also known as Hummingbird Flower; Firecracker Bush; Trumpetellia;
Bouvardia is a genus of around 50 flowering plants in the Rubiaceae family that is indigenous to Mexico and tropical America.
These are evergreen herbs or shrubs with enormous, dark-green leaves and single or double trumpet- or star-shaped blooms held on long, sometimes woody stems. They attract birds and butterflies to the yard and complement a wide variety of bouquets and centerpieces.
 

Bouvardia in Floral Arrangements

Bouvardia flowers have thick, robust stems and are often used as filler flowers in floral arrangements because of their strong, delicate appearance. Each stalk is adorned with a cluster of little blooms. In floral wedding arrangements, such as bridal bouquets, corsages and centerpieces, bouvardia is a great flower to use.
 
Flowers like Bouvardia ‘Royal Roza,’ which open one at a time to provide a long-lasting show in bouquets and vases, are popular for use in floral arrangements.
 
Sunflower, roses, hydrangea and peonies are just some of the numerous flowers you may use to create an eye-catching centerpiece, but there are also many more, such as lilies and tulips as well as other seasonal blooms like Chrysanthemum, Dahlia and many more. How to Care for Bouvardia

Cut blooms from these long-lasting blossoms are stunning. - When the Bouvardia blooms are at their peak, cut them in the morning. Extend the life of your blossoms by using stems whose flowers have just begun to open. - Tightly fill the vase with lukewarm water so that the flowers may readily take in the warm water. - Remove any leaves that may fall below the water level in the vase. " Flowers should be placed such that they may be seen from all sides in the vase. - Make sure the water level in the vase is maintained at the proper level every day and remove the flowers if the water seems hazy. - If the stems begin to rot in the water, they should be recut.
