In 1908 she arranged services honoring mothers at Andrews Methodist Episcopal Church in Grafton, West Virginia. The church is has now become the international Mothers Day Shrine. Andrew’s Methodist Episcopal Church has been designated as a National Historic Landmark for a tribute to all mothers.
